Lori Louque

Hi, all!
I'm Ms. Lori Louque and I'm excited that it's my first year teaching here at GES. But I'm far from being a new teacher!  I was a first grade teacher for 16 years, then a fourth grade teacher for 5 years, all at PES.  I look forward to teaching at GES and am ready to use my teaching experience, combined with a new atmosphere, to help my students reach their academic goals!
I've lived in Gramercy my whole life and even attended GES as a child for kindergarten, first, and second grade.  I also attended Chanel, then graduated from high school at Riverside Academy.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Southeastern Louisiana University and my Master's Degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction at Nicholl's State University.  I've always loved being in and teaching in schools and look forward to many more successful years.
In my spare time, I love reading all kinds of books, watching funny and/or scary movies, eating out at restaurants, and spending time with my family.  I am super organized and strive to have a structured classroom where students and their parents know what to expect and how to be successful.  Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.  I look forward to meeting and knowing all of you!
