Science
A minimum of 4 grades will be given each quarter and will count as 100% of your child's grade.
The following grading scale will be used:
100-93 A
92-85 B
84-75 C
74-67 D
66-0 F
Homework
Homework will be issued periodically throughout the year and checked for completion. Please remember that homework is a way to review skills and concepts taught in class and will help prepare your child for upcoming test, as well as state testing.
(Weekly Homework sheets are sent home every Monday!)
Materials
Books and handouts will be provided to your child. However, students will need an Orange folder for Science to keep all notes and handouts in.
Below is a list of colored folders with their assigned purposes:
Green- Communications Folder (contains newsletters, memos, behavior calendar, etc. Please check daily!)
Red- Test Paper Folder (This folder goes home every Wednesday! Please review with your child, sign, and return by Friday!)
Orange- Science Folder
Blue- Social Studies Folder
Purple- Math Folder
Yellow- ELA Folder
