Helen Martinez
My name is Helen Martinez and I am very happy to be part of this wonderful program that GEMS has to offer the children of St. James Parish.  Here at GEMS, we do our very best to give our students meaningful, fun, and knowledge-rich learning experiences which will prepare them for high school and beyond.  As a teacher, I strive to make my classroom a place where my students feel safe and comfortable and are willing to give 100% effort each day.

I was born and raised in St. James Parish and live in Vacherie with my husband and two daughters.  We enjoy going to the zoo, hanging out at home, and going to eat at different restaurants.
